This is where I will collect tips & tricks (primarily CSS code) to customize the look & feel of your sites.

How to turn off the white "content area" background and borders.
Your uploaded background picture will show through beneath all content. Go to Look & Feel > CSS Editor, paste this code into the editor, and click save:
