i've already suggested it would be more viable and efficient if he created a thread for his countless topics, in which he gets from third party websites. but, he insists to keep up this spam which just creates too many topics in multiple forums. it doesn't look good on the forum...

Junior is making movement in the forums. The problem is that sometimes the members are not interested in the subject.
To make topics, good topics, interesting topics, is a way to give some action in the forums.
If a forum has 2, 3, 4 or more topics with different subjects, at least one of them will be interesting for the member and this same member could comment something.

i understand your opinion...

1st: MSfixR's topics are mainly on topics about what either happened that specified date, or about some unknown fact not readily known to the general public. In that sense they do not offer, variety like you mentioned, but rather different styles of the same thing... creating multiple threads for such topics isn't a good thing.

2nd: variety isn't the same thing of one style, but rather different styles which hold different things in it. MSfixR's topics are of the same style and the same thing basically. they aren't that much different from one another.

3rd: hardly anyone comments on those topics and he's been posting them for months now.

let me get this straight... so you don't feel copying the same type of information on certain websites then pasting it here on FH continuously is spam?

if i were to copy some useless info. from wikipedia and paste it here topic after topic, day after day, that wouldn't be counted as spam? eh, hopefully an administrator would deal with this problem as i don't believe the current mods to be all to capable.

For your information, Phobos, I cleared the format of the "On This Day" posts with the current co-moderator of the News and Politics forum when I began daily posts of this thread in that forum two years ago. This was before I was made co-moderator of that forum, in part, I assume, because of those posts. In the Whatever forum, of which I am also a co-moderator, the "Little Known Facts" thread is somewhat of a joke satarizing the previously mentioned "On This Day" thread. Perhaps it is too obtuse. Both threads would loose their impact if combined into single posts.

As with any posts to this site, no one is forcing any member to either read or respond to them. The fact that they average 50 views each is enough for me and should be enough for the owner if it brings members back to the site and/or entices new members.

you say your topics might bring members back to the site, or entice new members to join? so, in the 2 years you've been posting those topics, how many members made a return because of them, and how many members joined FH because of them? I am going to say about, 0. both of your excuses failed...

the mods of each forum are either not really governing the forum (frasier), or don't really care (Jo.).

keeping the topics confined would help greatly...

instead of having 3 pages filled with the same coat we could have 1 topic dedicated to it. this would also give on-lookers the chance to see a bit more variety within the forums, instead of the same thing.

nooone would join a site if the topics had the same coating and lacked variety. you don't get that MSfixR.
