cant suggest a new category for a fan site

I have been trying for about a month now to suggest a new category for a fan site, but every time I do it always says this:

"Application error occurred.
An error has occurred. We are unable to complete your request at this time.

This error has been logged and will be reviewed and corrected as soon as possible."

Try suggesting it here in the forum (in this thread, even); that may get it added sooner than the function can be fixed.
