I dont see it that crowded, maybe the screen setting is different, we used to have an ad there not to long ago. The best thing it could do is generate more activity and get people moving into new celebrity forums if they see some nice photos.

I have all ads block, so those didn't bother me. As far as I know there is no option to turn the pics on the side off.

You have to post clickable thumbnails of the Star. It just so happens that there are a lot more Starlets so of course it's mostly female pictures.
I just posted a few Josh pictures and they're now showing in the Recent Photos section.

A great idea. My ad blocker must be blocking them on my home computer so I didn't notice them until I pulled up Fanhost at work. It does have draw backs - a horseless carriage in the midst of all those gorgeous women (and handsome men)?!
