Book/Literature Forum, Please

Ophelia and I have discussed it a few times, and I know that there are a number of other avid readers around here, so please consider creating a forum for Books & Literature.

I might be in the Slow Reader Group but I'd still participate in a Book Forum. Maybe it could be combined with Art?

Book talk really turns me on.

Also - there's a very popular young adult vampire book series out right now - I think it could attract some new people to FH if there was a discussion thread about it in the book forum. I could plug it on my book blog, I get at least 200 hits a day just from people reading about the Twilight series.

I think most of the major Whatever players are readers, or at least regularly mention decent literature. I can see it working.

I need more books to read besides books on Science. I would like to read something dark, gritty, and eerie and have it intrigue me from the start to finish. I used to read Captain Under Pants a lot, one of my favorite books to read. Ahhh, good times.

I just read Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman - it was pretty dark and eerie and def intriguing.

^ I think so. It should be a forum dedicated to the written word in ALL its glory, so not just books but magazines and blogs etc. Even a forum for our own pieces.

I brought back the old "creative expression" forum and just renamed it. So make that old dead forum work :p
