Fanhost very slow today?

I have a question:

is Fanhost really slow today?

cause it´s like it takes hours to load a page.

and it seems it not my computer who´s slow, cause all the other sites on the net are working fine for me

hope someone can help with that problem

One of the ads slows it down. I keep meaning to make a note of which company it is but I think it's been raised before anyway.

The speed is good for me.

Other countries sometimes get different ads though, so I dont know. Also on slower connections, distance may be a factor thats slows things down a bit.

There is an ad that's freezing the screen for a bit. Same ad each time, I just haven't made a note of it. If it keeps happening I'll adblock it.

well, nicq an lil_ms_wicker also have these problems, so it´s not only up to me.
they also told me that Fanhost is really slow for them

It's pretty laggy all the time for me. Dunno why but it's kinda annoying, but what do they say? No joy without annoy.

I havent seen it slow in a while.

I dont know the reason its seems slow to you, could be a combination of things, distance, your ISP, the ads for fanhost in germany.

It was down for a short while, for updates, a couple of hours ago... maybe that had something to do with it but it's been fine here.

I moved everything to a new (bigger) server yet again today. The server got really loaded down during the move (transferring the files to the new server) so that is probably the slow speed you experienced.

Everything should be back up to full speed now
