Hey there,

I'm just wondering if it is possible to change the nickname? Because I cannot find a 'section' where I could change it... just wondering...

Hey nica, try user CP - Edit Profile - Additional information is down the bottom of the page. One of those is your user name, one is your nick, looks like you can change both.

Hi Blackmask,thank you for your suggestion!

I gave it a try, but still, my 'old' nickname shows up...

I thought it might help when log out and then log in after I tried to change it, but still after that, nothing changed...
But I found something out: The last field in this 'additional info' is for my location!

I think you lose your post count if you change your name.

We tried to add a button/field to change names a while back, it was added but it didnt work. As far as I know the only way to do it is to create a new account or to have an Admin do it for you.

The User Title (Protector of Inanity, Кошка дерганая.) is easy to change under Edit Profile - Custom User Title.

You wont lose your post count by tring things in your UserCP.

I dont know why it didnt work, it seems like this forum software doesnt like customization or to be changed very much. Maybe Marc can try.

I beleive now with the new upgrades to the site that it is possible in your User CP. Did you already try it? If it doesnt work an Admin is the only one who can do it.
