What happened to the site yesterday?

I was wondering what happened to the site yesterday 8/9/07 I couldn't log on the fanhost forums or the teenhollywood.con site for a couple of hours.

He is away on vacation till the 22nd. I just assume some server load or something. I had the problem also.
