How do you post a pic?

Hi how do I post a picture now? do I still need to load it on imageshare or something first? and then what?

You can do it the same way you did before goign throught a site like www.imageshack.us or you can use the image uploader from fanhost. To do that hit "Go Advanced" rather then quick replay, then there is a paper clip Icon, click it, you can upload 5 pictures at once.

How do you get the "Thumbnails" section to come up in your post.
I know the paper clip thing you mention, but some people have a thumbnails section in their post. Have you seen that?

I did that but I can't find a paper clip icon where is it?

It did it automaticly for me, I hit the paper clip, uploaded the image, closed the window, and then hit submit.

I still like the old way better because of the file size limit.

The paper clip is under advanced which is right next to the reply button. Once your in advanced its on your tool bar in the top row next to undo buttons.

If you dont have a large tool bar: Click on Edit Options (Edit Options) then at to bottom of the page find Miscellaneous Options and change it to Enhanced. This will give your the most buttons and options.

Hum, you do have thumbnails posted in that thread though, just without the little box, test it out in this thread.

There isn't a Enhanced button to check off or anything.

Ok under User CP click edit options then find Miscellaneous options at the bottom of the page. Here is a graphic of the page to help. Pull down bar and hit enhanced Interface.

Ok the paper clip is now there but it doesn't so I used the insert pic button instead and it worked.

So Thank You.

Ok what am I doing wrong now? I put in on under insert pic but I can't see the pic at first it just shows a box with a X in it. Then after I hit preview post I can see the picture but it is in the middle of the insert address I used and you can see the rest of the insert address in there.

Help it worked before but now this just started happening.

When using imageshack you dont have to hit any butons. If you look on the get lings page. http://img131.imageshack.us/content.php?page=done&l=img131/2190/2374986234ej.jpg. You will see "Thumbnail for forums (1)", just copy and past that link onto the board and it will automaticly come up as a tumbnail like this.
