New site, new layout

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to present to you the new site & new layout. If, for some reason, you're still seeing the old layout, then please use this link to activate the new colors.

Some things that are NEW on the main FanHost.com site:

Fan Sites - A complete fan site listing is now easy to access. Plus, news updates on the fan sites now automatically appears on the front page of the site! We are tracking the traffic to the sites and will automatically rank the highest traffic and fastest growing fansites on the front page each day!
Music videos - There are about 5,000 music videos to watch. Soon, we'll add the ability to upload & share your own videos here too!
Photo section - You can upload photos directly to FanHost - we'll soon be integrating this with the forums so that all photos posted to the forums will also show up here for easy browsing!
New fansite webmaster signup form - it is now easy to sign up to become a webmaster! Beginning in December, webmasters will earn points towards FREE rewards!

There are most likely going to be a few bugs on the new site (especially the non-forum sections), so please be patient with us as we work to resolve them. If you notice anything unusual (forums, fanhost.com or otherwise) then please post a description of the issue here so we can look into it.

If you aren't ready for the layout, you can always switch back to the old black & red layout (on forums which don't have custom logos) by scrolling to the bottom of the page and selecting "Old Layout" from the dropdown box.

WOW, the new forum layout looks awesome, I like the colors

so, you won´t see the latest post at the bottom of the page? well, the statistic thing? That helped a lot

oh, just one little thing: in the quick reply boxes there is no smilie button now, is it possible to get them back there?

I like the new colors better then the red and the black one. Looks fresher now.

I Though in the Wentworth forum and the Chad forum the colours seems to be a bit out of wack.

Also will we be able to change the standard theme again. I used to have the Chad theme as my standard theme, but right now I don't see that option. Only the new and the old.

Sure, ok. I turned the Chad theme back on as a user selectable theme

Yeah, you're right. Didn't realize those were missing. I've added them back now.

It should retain the change to the new layout once you've followed the link (or logged out and back in again). Maybe try closing & reopening your browser (remember to close ALL open browser windows). If that doesn't work, maybe try clearing your cookies?

Is anyone else experiencing this problem where it flips back to the old template?

but the white main page is still not working for me.
what do I have to do with this link you posted above?

cause I tried to go off, then everything was in the new color, but then I registered again, and it´s still black (BTW; the same in this forum here, all the others work in teh new colors)

well, under the link it works, but it´s a bit different link, and after loging off and back in, It´s still teh same. only the forums work in that color

To clear cache, if you're using internet explorer 7, go to tools (press ALT T) and then click delete browsing history. On FireFox, click Tools and then "Clear Private Data"

The good old recommendation of restarting your computer may help. Clears out nearly everything

I checked your account and your default style should be the new one..... So, I'm a little puzzled and think it might be related to cookies or other data stored in your browser cache.

Well, its going to take a bit of getting used to; I'll have to remember to wear my sunglasses when I visit.

I like the multi-quote option; that may prove useful.

well, I rebooted my computer now but I´m afraid to say it´s still black

well, can you tell me that in german, cause I have no idea what that means in german, cause although I can translate it, but I can´t find anything of that in my firefox somewhere

the new site only works with your link you posted here above, but not with the regular one, not when I log out and in again
