Fanhost update! Please read!

Just wanted to fill everyone in on what we have been doing and where things are going...

jounals - Yes, we turned them on and they can be found on the nav bar within the forums next to the search feature. You guys all have a lot of flexibility in the journals and we will not police them very much...although will want them to be pretty clean..

Avatars- Added 200 and vulture is working on more now

User Fields - I added several new user input fields in your profile for things like favorite movies, tv, music, etc... please go into your profile and edit away!

User Ranks - I also fixed the issue with you big hitters out there to make sure all the "stars" were showing up...

Profiles - the buddy/friend list is on and cooking! In some ways this is a page out of the myspace book with friends and such.. keeps things fun. IN addition, we have set things up so that you can now link directly to your profile. An example:

yes the space in my name is ok. Type is just like your name is.

The hacking - I replaced some files that should eliminate the hacking that has been going on.

The contest - some confusion as to $$ amounts. My post stated $50.00 however, i stated i "MAY" give $100. I am still undecided and may actually give out multiple prizes to keep people interested. If you haven't entered your name, i would hurry up!

Would be a good idea on the multiple prize thing. It's kind of a joke about who will win, so at least if there's 4 other $20 vouchers up for grabs it'll actually BE a contest.

What's the difference between Friends and Buddies? And how do you add Friends?

if i add you as a buddy and you accept, you become a friend... So i can put someone like silverspoon down as a buddy. Since he will never accept me, he is my buddy, but not a friend.

I am working on other options so that we can start having groups like the Josh Hartnett group where you can pull people in and all that. There is much more to come, but the overall focus is more community type stuff too.

The good news is posts, new members, and views in the forums were up last month...

OK, thanks "friend"! The group stuff sounds good because all the Hartnett Bunnies are my friends!
And it's great that posting is up; do you have forum by forum figures? That would be helpful.

That's your reputation for the forum. If you click on the scales next to the online button, you can add (or take away) from someone's rep. Like you could add to mine for helping explain this to you... no pressure.
