Creepy ex

Since it was kinda dead in here.

A few days ago I was lying in bed alone dreaming about all kinds of wonderful things. Until my mom walks into my room (the benefits of living at home) and no this is not the part where I hide my vibrator( I don't own one just to clear that up). Apparently I received a package and my mom thought it is absolutley normal to wake me up for this. She gets very excited when mail arrives. So not really knowing who would send me a package I took it from her, and as soon as it was in my hands I thought "f*ck". In the package were all the stuff that i had left at my ex. I kid you not. My bracelet, my necklace, some cards and a sock. And there was no message, just my things. Its just really creepy, i had said a zillion times to throw that stuff away cuz I didnt want it..but no it has to be send to my house, my mom of course awaiting ann explenation. Is it just me or is that just a bit creepy, we broke up in november. Ew!

Depends on the nature of the breakup... he must have had his motives for sending you the stuff which may not necessarily be creepy.

Still I wouldn't get so wrapped up about it, I mean even if they're not "valuable" possesions(imagine if she had kept you CD collection), but still she went through the trouble of packing everything and paying postage stamps which isn't exactly nickels or ancient roman coins.

It'll only gets creepy when she steals your bike and hides it in the bushes for a few days.

Maybe he was concerned about the implications if he threw your stuff away and thought he'd cover himself my returning them in the mail. I assume he doesn't live nearby or else he'd have brought them round?

I don't really like to play off stereotypes but I think women often tend to be more "cerebal" when it comes to breakups.

Not that i'm suggesting that there's an ulterior motive to send back someone's belongings, at the end it's a no win situation, if you throw them away you're the villain and if you send them you end up looking ansy and desperate. If you stay put the you end up like when Clint Eastwood earned the respect of the old black guy in Escape from Alcatraz.

Im not really into toys, dont think ill ever will be. But this phatetic behaviour has put me of girls for life well relationships.

No. This is not just a chick thing. Many a dude have thrown hissy fits and mailed chit back to their ex's. Everything except a check for all the money they borrowed or the sex tapes, those they just post on youporn.

Okay well I only experienced nice guys, other than the sexcrazed ones, the guys I have been with treated me really well and after I broke up with them other than a bit of jealousy they never did things like this, in the past 2 years I lived in 3 different countries so i have no choice but to break up with them. And they understand. Girl was a different case though, just dissapointment on ALL things.
