My voice sounds like someone stuffed Woody Allen into the nasal passage of sick Guido. I try to keep the conversations to "yes, no's, aha, huh's" within a 58 second timeframe.

Well according to Missy I sound like the winged dinosaur(Peltrie) from Land Before Time. Others have said "Urkel", "D&D dungeon master taking s!hit for reals". "Cats phucking in my alley"

Since then I've been trying to darkened it out to the point of sounding like an evil Disney villain

Oooops....I just got my phone bill for the month. Long calls to mobile phones are not pretty at all.

Unfortunately it makes no difference with mobile costs whether it's the neighbour or the other side of the country. It's more about remembering to say "Are you home? I'll call you on the landline then" when it's obvious the call is going to go longer than 10 minutes.

Urgh, don't. I'm DREADING my next mobile phone bill. How much does it cost to text the US from the UK anyway? I must stop having entire conversations via text...

I recently changed plans and I only pay 14c for a text. I think it's the same for the texts to the US. I'll find that out on next month's bill.

I switched plans too, I get virtually all my texts for free. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to extend to those sent outside of the UK *sobs* I pay about 20p a text.. I just calculated that last night I spent over five quid on texts.

Next time I'll just ring her lol.
