It's not the understanding at the time but the reminders after of what was said that's the fun part.

oh, and I know this understanding part, I sometimes talk to someone on the phone and when he or she´s talking to much I´m doing other things too, and then I sometimes don´t get everything and then: oops, what did she or her said?

I generally listen when I'm on the phone. Only if it's a miserable call I tend to switch off. Then the person can be miserable and talk and think someone cares while I avoid having to listen. Everyone is happy that way.

I think that's irrelevant. The important point is that they were both drunk; only another drunk is genuinely amused by drunken ramblings.

Maybe I should preface everything with; in my opinion .
But I find, in my opinion, that drunks are rarely witty and amusing.

nonono, you misunderstand. That wasn't a prank caller that I talked to, it was a friend. We got drunk together over the phone....much safer than driving home afterwards.

No one lives nearby. I live in the middle of nowhere. Well except the neighbours....they are safe stumbling distance away.

I managed to go half an hour on the phone to a drunk girl on Saturday night. She ruined it by telling me that she loved me and I hung up soon after that. Fun times :P But right up till that point, she'd been hilarious.

Misery phone calls annoy me sometimes. My life isn't all sunshine and rainbows and I dont spend hours on the phone complaining about it to other people, but I'm the one who takes phone calls from other people when they want to moan and complain. Woo.

I don't know how any of you can manage to keep your calls short though. I chatted to my ex boss today and that went for 30 minutes.
