Last time, I colored it medium ash brown and then attmepted to put highlights in. the highlights were a shocking cranberry color. Thankfully, they faded and looked pretty good after about a week. Today, I colored it medium brown/black. and I think I may have left it in too long becuz I never heard the timer go off and I got sucked into fanhost and so now its like jet black. i look like death on a cracker. So, what now? Do I just keep washing it and hope it will fade to the nice soft dark brownish color I was going for? or should I do it over with a medium brown or will that make it worse? I guess I could always dust off my black lipstick and combat boots and try to work it, but I'm not sure I wanna go back to my Robert Smith look alike days. Any suggestions? |

I've found even the permanents tends to fade after a few washes so maybe wait and see if it fades a bit after a few washes. If it's jet black then another colour over it might not have a lot of effect. I don't think it'd make it worse though, just might not make it any better. |
