What would he like for a present? I'm assuming he is a vegetarian as well, so no mouse or canary.

HIM??? VEGO????? Hell no. Killed more birds than Annie-friggin-Oakley, the little bastard has. And sometimes for revenge. I remember years ago, I wasn't in the mood to feed him at that moment. He got a little cranky, but he went outside, so I thought that was the end of that. But no. 20 minutes later he was back inside with a dead bird in his mouth, which he then spat into his bowl right in front of me as if to say "That's what'll happen if you phuck with the Fat Siamese, lady". Another time, when I was away for a while, my sister didn't have time to pay attention to him or whatever. One day she gets ready to go to bed, pulls back the covers...... And there is a dead bird lying on her pillow. Yep, he has seen the Godfather.......

Don't birds count as being vegetarian. I've met a lot of people who don't eat meat....just fish and chicken.

Your fat siamese needs a bell around it's neck. Cow bells are good for stopping cats killing birds.
