Second Biology Class

Hi all.
I'm the Professor Val.

This is the second Biology Class and this is the presence list for this class:

As was done in the first class, let's keep up with the wild animals study. I'll teach you about their life, habits and their characteristics as well as some pics.

Meller's chameleons are also called "giant one-horned chameleons" because of their large size and the small horn protruding from the front of their snouts. They are always disguised.

do you know why chameleons are always disguised?

It seems unfairly menacing that a snake that can literally "stand up" and look a full-grown person in the eye would also be among the most venomous on the planet, but that describes the famous king cobra.

the King cobra is a reptile, insect or an arachnid?

Leatherback sea turtles lay their eggs in nests on shore, where they are vulnerable to scavenging dogs and beach-strolling humans.

normally sea turtles cry while lay their eggs. Do you know why? A tip: this does not happen all the time.

Largest of the dolphins, the killer whale, or orca, is a highly successful predator, feeding on fish, seals, and sometimes whales.

Plastic Flute ...
is the Orca Killer a mammal?

A baby harp seal rests on the Arctic ice. Its mother can distinguish it from hundreds of others by scent alone.

what is the main predator of the Harp Seal?

Because, in spite of their appearance, they are good to eat and very nutritious. Therefore they change their color to make themselves blend into the background. As long as they remain motionless, they are almost invisible.

I would guess at first it's polar bears but I will go with you humans because you hunt them for their fur, you barbaric homosapiens. You make me sick.

A snake, you gave me the snake?
The King Cobra, is of course a reptile.
The trick is, to take it's head off before it stands up to strike. I don't think I would want to use a shovel in this case, I would prefer my 357 with snake loads!

It hurts them, when they lay eggs. It must be because eggs have a hard shell. (I know chicken eggs have, therefore all eggs have) Babies on the other hand don't have a hard shell. So giving birth probably doesn't hurt. If a woman still cries and screams, she probably just got some sand into her eyes.

No. At least not if the orca killer is a crying turtle. You might ask, why would a turtle would turn into a killer of orcas. But don't forget, it's always the one you'd least expect.

The killer whale or Orca is, like all whales, a mammal.

Turtle eggs are somewhat pliable when laid therefore I doubt that the act of laying eggs hurts the turtle very much. I suspect that being out of the water for a period of time causes their eyes to dry out and the purpose of the tears are to counter this drying. On the other hand, human child birth is usual painful due to the dilation of the cervical canal necessary to accommodate the proportionately large human cranium. Add that to the fact that the baby must make a ninety degree turn during birth first so that the head can clear the pelvis and then for the shoulders whose axis in ninety degrees to the plane of the head.

And I'm not fixating on Miss Momsen! I never fixated on any starlet, if we forget about Sarah Michelle Gellar for a moment. And the age thing? Miss Momsen is no child and whether she's younger or older than 18 makes no difference. It's not like we'll ever meet.

I will just complement it.
When sea turtles are on the beach, they often appear to be "crying". This is a normal action. The turtles are really just excreting salt from certain glands near their eyes.
