Ambiguous pseudo irony is the greatest invention since the joint stock venture.

On topic the Opeth album sounds like well Opeth. I'll be honest and say i'm not really feeling the new album and that's not straight up hating considering I practically keep Blackwater Park under my pillow. It just feels like there's a band, but something just isn't clicking for me, the transitions that once gave breath to the songs now seem very forced and out of place, it's like they've settled into a patented a form structure [clean/heavy/clean/guitar solo/heavy/random groove/heavy/noise/outro]. Standout tracks if any "The Lotus Eater" and "Hessian Peel".

Watchmen meh. With Snyder as a director it would seem logical he would favor form with over substance...but if the form is cool enough, hey, it might be worth watching just for that. The crystal palace on Mars or Rorschach flaming the house when he's about to be arrested are good examples, those are things, having already read the graphic novel, that might just be sweet to see in movie form. I don't know. Obviously this isn't going to be some seminal masterpiece. But if it gets a few thousand reading the comic dope, and there are some scenes that might be just beautiful. We'll see.
