Are those rapatronic photos? (doesn't look like a mechanical shutter) I ask, because they don't at all look like the rapatronic shots of nuclear explosions in early stages, one can find on Google images. Then again bullets aren't nuclear explosions.

I have no idea but isn't the traditional method of capturing such a shot to use a strobe with the shutter open?
