I almost forgot to tell you, yesterday on the way home, I stopped by one of the branch Bissinger stores and picked up a dozen of those chocolate covered raspberries. One has the choice of dark or milk chocolate – I choose milk chocolate because the raspberries are a bit tart and the sweetness of the milk chocolate would offset that tartness.
Well I have to tell you up front that raspberries are not my favorite fruit, in fact the raspberry flavor, mostly imitation, is vastly over rated. That being said, I want you to know that even at slightly more than a dollar each,

THESE THINGS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!

I have never tasted a chocolate anything like these fresh, plump, juicy raspberries, drenched in fondant and hand dipped in luscious Bissinger’s chocolate. This is what the bible must have been referring to when it said “Manna from Heaven.” I’d post a picture but I don’t want to torture you the reader any more than I already have.

Oh, what the hell:

They used a high gloss polyurethane on that turkey to get that sheen . Water based of course.

P.S. I've been finishing wood for many years and water-based finishes still are not as good as solvent-based ones. Personnal I prefer lacquer - it has such an intoxicating odor and fyck the ozone layer.
