Default Chasing dreams vs. Succes

Do you believe in following your heart/dreams or do you reckon you are better of doing something you know you are going to be succesfull in, have an actual career..

You need money so if you can't make money doing something then you should probably focus on doing things that can get you money.

whether it's your dream or not is beside the point.

Darko is right in a point
Money is everything in the world!
With money you can do whatever you want.
Money does not bring happiness? No, it doesn't. Money buy it.
Money can't buy the moon? Yes, it can. Just put it for sale.
See?
Money is money.

If you plan on spending 40 hours a week for the next 40 years until you retire doing something you don't enjoy then I would advice against it because I just can't see anyone being happy dreading getting out of bed and hitting the snooze button 10 times because your subconscious is rebelling at another day at your job.

On the same token people do tend to get locked into the idea of having a single career and some 40 year long road unrolling ahead of them. Instead of taking a sabbatical or or an eurotrip when you graduate you can take some time an enroll in sum Film institute if you can afford it.

That's short sighted tho, the richer life is lead when currency loses all value. Yet, that comes hand in hand with stuggling to survive in a sense.

Hah, as much as I'd like to say I'm a dreamer and would love to follow my dreams, I already tried that and it sucks. It's awful that I've lost interest in what I really wanted to study and keep stumbling back to what I left behind.

Ugh, just go with what you're good at. You'll be interested just cause you have a talent. And it keeps you interested cause you..."get" it.

Eh, I don't know. It can't be all fun and games all the time.

I'm getting old. I reek of realism.

I've never studied film, but i'm just really weary of taking up classes and the general vibe being sum silly kitsch smoking jacket zipping double malt scotch kids talking about Chinatown and the French Connection being contempary examples of film noir and all the progressive expressionistic elements of Greg Tolands photography and camera work...

Thats true, but I think I am going to be naive and do what I love and want to do.

I would be ace at being a hotel manager. But its boring and doesn't make me happy I always end up at the end of the day complaining about lazy co workers or the management of the hotel.

You're a girl, you don't have to make sensible decisions.
