I just had an interesting conversation with a 5 year old. He ran towards my door and sat on the floor crying. Since it's dark right now, and my metal screen door is black, he really couldn't see me. I sat down myself and asked him what was wrong. He told me his mom was angry at him for getting wet. Makes sense since it's already cold outside and the mosquitoes come out at this hour. Then he goes on about his little dog and how he'd wish he could have a bigger dog so it can bite people because his dad wants a dog that bites people.

Clearly, the boy doesn't get along with his mother, get along better with his dad. I just tried to do and say anything to calm him down. Soon he forgot what he was crying about. He had no idea he was conversing with the angel of death.

Cute kid.

Went to the dentist in the morning, I hate the dentist. Then I gardened for most of the day, and it was hot. Planted a row of hedges, 3 ferns, and a small tree. Then went to starbucks because I was exhausted.

Few scattered showers, the puddles have gathered rain. It's about 7°C (44°F), and the screen door came with the apartment.
