Fixr, join the club. My neighbor's Mercedes Benz was totaled when some idiot was speeding round the corner too fast and slammed into it @ 1am last month.

I too hate it when people call while I'm in my car. It's not that I get a lot of calls. Like 20 per year. Most of which are from the phone company trying to sell me a mobile flat. The rest come down to birthday wishes, people that misdailed.

I don't know for a fact that she was on her cell before the accident occured but she was immediately thereafter (I was a bit busy trying unsuccessfully to avoid her). She said she "forgot" that there was a light there; it was added about a year ago, It was her first accident.

A few days ago, our slightly over one year old, 37 inch flat screen HDTV just stopped working. Won't come on or anything. Of course, we are now out of warranty, and everything I googled online says we should not have purchased a polaroid TV, they are apparently lemons and cannot be repaired.
The agent I spoke with at Polaroid says we can send back the TV, and get a refurbished one for $310.00 but it will only have a 90 day warranty. What this essentially means to me is that they have some faulty phucked up part in these TV's that keep breaking so they are taking the TV's back, putting the same phucked up part in it, and selling it as a refurbed unit and only giving a 90 warranty becasue they know the part will break again. I wish I was a lawyer.
