Default Rebates

Do send them in? or just forget about it ?
I always "intend to" but never do. I hate that about me.

It has to be a significant amount for me to send them in. Most of the time they are just after your mailing address, phone number or email address so they can send you advertizing.

I always send them in, Money is Money. I think they tend to make it as hard as possible to fill out the forms, everythings in small print, and cutting out the UPS symbols on the box. I wonder what the % is of people who fill them out?

In my experience, you never get the rebate hassle free. You always have to call and harass them, then eventually you will get it if you make enough noise. Rebates are just BS advertising that expects that you will never file you rebate or if you do you'll just forget about it.

"Woo hoo, I'ma buy me a hammock! Wingdingdiddilydingdingdoo!"

Mailing a rebate back is only worth the hassle if it's $200 or more. Anything else is acting out like a retired veteran on a limited pension.

I almost always send them in, why not. Not if there under 5$ or anything though. The point of rebates are that they know most people will never send them in, so they dont have to pay out.

Thats crazy, if someone is offering to give you a portion of your money back then your the silly one for not taking them up on it.

Hassle...yea filling out a form and cutting out a UPC code is tough stuff, thats not to say I sometimes don't do it either but thats not because its a hassle...I'm just being lazy.

I hate those rebates, it takes forever to get the money back for the rebate.

Meh...filling out a rebate form takes less time than it took you to find, save, upload and copy and paste those photos.

I will take your advice since youi're a member of a hyper advanced, galaxy spanning culture, visiting primitive worlds. Now if I could only create a virtual Ophelia(striptease's included) on my desktop that could synthesize Readers Digest and Consumer Reports it'd be worth more than 100 cupons.
