I posted this topic a lonnnng time ago. Some ones here can remember, I think, and my ex girl Sarah did one in the neck and in a reserved conversation with her, she decided to share here.

And you? Could you share your tatoo with us?

I don't got any tattoo's but I'm thinking of getting the Chevy symbol on my arm.

I don't like tattoos to be honest. I do understand how someone might make a decision to mark their bodies with something permanent that they connect to and it's all about what it means to them. Yet it's kinda repulsive when I always see fiary tats where they are sitting on toadstools and water lillies all bright with big wings and colors.

um... ok. And don't get me started on tribal and chinese symbols.

My dad wants to write a psychological/philosophical book about tatoos at the moment, I'm actually serious. Our house is full of all these kinky picture books of naked tatooing people. His plan is to write about tatoos in european royalty, it's gonna be like a psychology and genealogy of aristocratic tatooing practices. Because apparently the europo aristos all got these secret tatoos (but nobody knows about this!) in japan, when they became enamoured with the country after the convention of kanagawa. Dad recently went to an auction to buy a hideous (absolutely hideous) topless photo of the king of denmark with a dragon down his back. SO basically anyway the fact that my dad's writing a tatoo book (we think he has repressed tatoo fetish), gives me major green light to get tatooed. But yeah i don't really like the look of them either. I was researching a lot. I've only one I really like, it's on the underside of sienna miller's left wrist, 3:05 in the vid. I want to get that tatoo! It's so cute with her bangles.

I like when people get tatts of me.

Its flattering, really.

I would never get one. Its not a commitment issue, I just wouldn't get one. I'd like to see them try to tattoo bone.

It's amazing to me how many ugly little tattoos you see, especially in the women's changing rooms. Horrid little pandas, flowers, snakes, dragons that look like a 5 year old drew them and the tedious tramp stamps.
If someone has a tattoo at least make it worth while and get a decent design.

I love tattoo's. I recently got a small tribal covered with japanese water & peony flower on my shoulder & shoulder blade plus I have a large tribal in the middle of my back. I've got progressive stage pics on Myspace.
I love tat's, they're creative, interesting, head turning, memorable & significant
