Default Moving

Hello there, I was wondering if anyone ever moved to another country, because i could do with some advice. I think I'll be moving to London in September, just thinking what exactly do I need to do.

- As a EU citizen do you have to get a work permit?
- What about taxes?

I'll need to get health insurance there, and obviously go to city hall here and tell em I'm moving.

I have a feeling im forgetting a lot...any ideaS?

Good luck with the move and welcome!
I know you don't need a work permit moving within the EU but otherwise I'm not sure. Is it going to be a permanent move, that might be different to a temporary stay?

It will permanent. If i get into uni ill be a student if not i'll get a full time job for a year til im 21. Will that make any difference with taxes, because when i was there for the last 6 months, I didnt pay any tax, I think I paid once 4 pound but thats it.

This site might help.... http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/eucitizens/

This section explains how European citizens and members of their family can enter, live in and work in the United Kingdom. The information in this section applies to citizens of countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.

And the forms you'll need to fill out here.

London met. I wont know for a few weeks, I also applied to Uni in Ealing as plan B in hospitality management which is easy. So in may I´m gonna look for a room and in the summer I´ll go back to work at the hotel i used to work at. Because student life is really expensive..:(

BOR -ING. I have a solution, look for a gay man looking for a roomie. Tidy will be not a requirement but an extra added bonus.

I tried that but they all have penthouses for 250 a week, and thats a bit above my budget. I just wanna live with people who like to have fun, I don´t mind smoking outside I always do anyway...but quiet..and that tidy.
