It would depend on the type of vampire. One of those ugly angry critters from Buffy probably not. A just live at night and drink blood type, like those fine vampires from New Orleans in Anne Rice's books, sure, why not.

Yeah, I would. Like Blackmask said, not the ugly type of vampire, a good looking, seductive lady who stays lets say, 21yrsold or 26yrs old?
Honestly, I've sorta been fascinated by them but wouldnt join them freaky cults you hear about

Blood is very high in iron. Maybe it'd help.

The mind reading abilities, the enhanced hearing and strength would be great, the blood wouldn't bother me... I'm no vegi and I eat my steaks blue but I just don't think I could kill people. Yes, sometimes that's going to happen when the seductive poetry doesn't make the victim willing and actually biting someone... nah, I don't fancy mutilating another human being.

I could see myself has a vampire, I like having the strength and the power they have not to mention you can live forever. I have no problems with staying up all night, I'm a night person anyway.

Same thing came to my mind as I slowly waited on the page to open. Not the same, as in from those sources, more like the difference between the ones in the Blade series and one like in the original black and white movies.

Living forever when the only thing you get to do is stay in a coffin the whole time except to come out and eat doesn't sound too hot.

The one's out of Blade seemed to lead a relatively normal, even hold down jobs and party a fair bit. I'm more of a night owl anyway.

I ate a lot of venison when I was pregnant the first time, my iron levels were always good, unlike my dear vegi sister who had to take supplements. No the blood in general isn't a problem for me, just murdering and maiming people!

Given that this whole vampire thing is fictional, why would anyone want to live indefinitely? After you had done everything you wanted to do and visited everywhere you wanted to visit two or three times, wouldn't you get pretty bored?

When you travel around the world and meet people you can find people who like to stay a while, perhaps years in the one place before moving around. If you were to do this then maybe 3-400 years later you end up back at a very much changed starting point.

Rinse and repeat....then eventually on to the Moon, Mars and beyond.

Yes, but one of the leading causes of anemia is internal bleeding from the digestive track and anyone over forty should be checked every five years. Besides its more fun than a barrel fun of monkeys to have a gastroenterologist shove an endoscope up your you-know-what.

There are no vampires, yet without them, I wouldn't be here (Buffy, Sarah Michelle Gellar). Makes you think ...or probably not.

No, I wouldn't want to become a vampire.

HELL

YES

I'm having trouble deciding between buffy vampires and the vampires from Blade. blade vampires listen to techno music and their limbs grow back so they defeat underworld in terms of coolness

buffy vampires go all bumpy and GRRRR and make with the sex and the...i miss buffy

i'm torn.

I agree with you, the Blade characters look more modern & realistic (if vampires were real) for having jobs & partying.
What about the periodotic 'Interview With the Vampire' movie with Brad Pitt & Tom Cruise?
They looked like they were going through hell being vampires eg Kristen Dunst character couldnt cut ehr hair cause it'll grow back & she got peeved off.
Anyone watched it?
