Blisters on the souls of my feet

That's a song right? Oh wait, that's diamonds and shoes, that's a bit different I guess. Actually the blisters are on the back of ankle. I'm wearing in a new pair of hiking boots for an upcoming walk/hike/camping trip along part of the Great Ocean Road.

It's a spectacular piece of coastline. All up it's a 100km but we are only doing about 30km of it this trip. Here's some pics of the area.

The quality of the pictures is amazing. Mad respect for people that go out and do this sort of thing. I'll go on hikes and stuff, but just casual few hours on a comfortable day.

They're awesome pics Blackmask! In SA where I live theres no landscape that compares to that down here

Its just bush, dirt & some hills.

I didn't take those pics. I'll be taking the camera on the hike though, I love that part of the coast.

SA has some awesome spots though. Maybe not coastal, but inland there's some great things. Bush, dirt and hills sounds like my backyard.

Yeah, at the mo its our backyard with this huge heat wave we are having!
I was gonna say them pics (if you did take them) you done a great job but I can shut up until you do put some up here. I love to travel but at the mo its travelling by computer

We seem to get your weather when you're finished with it so I hope that heat wave comes and goes before easter. I don't think hiking 30km in 40C would be fun at all, even along the coast.

Going with friends. They are all running away from their families for the long weekend. Healthier than chocolate.....although I suspect there will be some drinks being had.

Well your lovely SA weather has made it across to here. 40C today, same again tomorrow.

Just saw the news Sweet Dynamite, hope those fires aren't in your area.

No thank goodness but they could. We are surrounded with the Flinders Range so if a fire did break out it'll be a bit hard to get out if they spread quickly.

I've been watching the CFA site at work today to keep an eye out for anything in my area. Cool change coming Wednesday, until then 40C a day.
