So much so that I could barely move last Sunday night and had to take Monday off work. It would be much more dramatic to have injured myself sky diving but the sad truth is that I did it lifting a basket of laundry. Have you ever injured yourself doing household chores? Not something exciting like building renovating and nail gunning your hand to the wall, but the day to day type stuff. |

Your joints and muscles can only do so much and the muscles in your back are only there to keep you upright not to lift things. Use your leg muscles, they are the largest and strongest in your body. |

If not right away, it'll happen within 24 hours doing something else like lifting the dog. My worst back injury ever came once while picking up a pencil. I had to lay on the floor at work for about 20 minutes before I could move again |
