| Jr. F'ing Member My Ars ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Does anyone else here collect things for no real reason? I've got a bad habbit in collecting things of no real value. For instance I love playing Mario Kart, and I just saw these small Mario Kart figures on E-Bay so I had to buy 1 of each that I could find. The picture is of all the little figures I just wasted money on. ![]() Oh, and if anyone wants to play Mario Kart DS against me just let me know your friend code, and the time you want to play. My friend code is: 489718-247823 Last edited by Spin Teacher : 11-25-2007 at 05:44 PM. |

| I used to collect lots of things but this year ive slowed down a bit and have been selling off much of my collections on ebay. Ive made almost $2000 grand alone doing so. Didnt realize Buffy still had a huge following of buyers. I sold my entire n64 system/games too. Mario Kart as well lol. I am now trying to unload a bunch of comic books I dont care about but damn its brutal to ship such a large stack otherwise they would be on ebay too. |

| I keep my action figures in their cardboard packaging. Some I have on display but most are in the closet in plastic bins. Hey spoon, still got all the original power rangers in their boxes I told you about too. Looks like I can fetch a few thousand for them alone. Still not ready to let them go though :/ |

If you ever decide to sell, I know a good place you can do it outside of eBay. Then you can save big on eBay fees and deal with very serious collectors. I'm pretty content with my collections now. The only thing I really want are Power Rangers helmet replicas, but those are too expensive. I did just buy an authentic pair of Power Rangers/Sentai gloves from one of the Japanese costumers. Exact same ones they use in every show. Still waiting for them to arrive, though. Here's one item I'm really happy with that you can't see well in the other pictures. It's a replica of the communicators they used in the show. Don't mind the Astro Morpher. ![]()

| Henshin Heroes has completely gone down the drain this past summer. At least the merchandise forum. I go to Rangerboard now, which is where all of the old HH people have flocked to. A lot of the big sellers and prop makers are there, and sometimes they offer cool deals for forum members. Another pride and joy I have is the Japanese Titanus: King Brachion. I love that thing. ![]() Last edited by SilverSpoon : 11-26-2007 at 12:01 AM. |

| I have old baseball cards from the 80's stashed away, and the complete 1993 Marvel Universe cards, Series 3. Oh... and the first issues of the Smallville comics. But those won't see the light of day for 20 more years. I want to get them signed by some of the cast, then stash em away for a nice lump of money in the future. My most treasured in the collection though are a couple a friend got for me, the opening ceremony programs for both the 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. ![]() I also have a collection of masks up on the bedroom wall and dragons scattered around the whole house. ![]() |

Did you know that the Japanese power morpher, called a Dino Buckler, is worth a few hundred dollars mint-in-box? And since the Green Ranger morpher (Dragon Buckler) wasn't released here, it can go for anywhere between $400-$800 depending on its condition. Of course, you can always just customize an American power morpher to look like it, which is what I did. Only problem is you can't get that metallic looking coin for it.

| Yeah. The thing is, I'm sure someone just happened to spend that much, and then suddenly it became the standard simply because other sellers saw it was possible to make that much off the items. This past summer the price of power morphers went up a lot because of the Power Rangers 15th anniversary episode where Adam came back and morphed into the black ranger. They were already like $60, but went up to being $100 or more, in any condition. |
