It uses poles to develop fitness, not dancing, but fitness, more like acrobatics and martial arts skills. The family groups and others though are concerned it's only a small step from pole dancing and is therefore sexualising children. Oh the controversy Last edited by Blackmask; 10-08-2007 at 05:15 AM.. |

So if they're fully clothed and not making any inappropriate gestures then I don't see the problem. It's not dancing around the pole that's sexual, it's the lack of clothing and the 'moves' that makes it sexual. Right? Maybe it's a European thing. ![]() |

That we show nudity on TV all the time, etc.? Seems like the rest of the world sees Europe as one big red-light district. ![]() Last edited by Cat; 10-08-2007 at 05:03 PM.. |

From what I have seen of it its very sexual, no actual clothes off but the gestures of taking clothes off are there and the moves in general are sexy. I dont know if thats the kind they meant in the article but its probably not appropriate for kids as they will mimic it where there not suppose to and become more predisposed to it. |
