My Sinuses are PHUCKED

Just thought you'd all like to know. Because I know you care.

My nose is stuffed, I can't stop sneezing and you know when you get that itchy thing where it feels like your whole damn head is so itchy you feel like peeling off your skin to be able to get a good scratch in?

Don't know. I was cleaning, but I'm not sure if its dust allergy, hay fever or a light flu.

All I know is I feel crappy.

I've already had that one. Could be it coming back for the 25th time, but this feels more mild than that. My guess is hay fever.

Note to you guys just going into Autumn: PLEASE, PLEASE get a flu shot as soon as you can. This will reach your part of the world soon, and it's a nasty, evil flu this time around. As Blackmask said, its been taking out otherwise healthy people here in Australia.

I never get a flu shot. I trust the natural order of things to develop anti-bodies every 5 years or so when I get struck down with the wretched thing.

I normally do get one, because for some strange reason I tend to get chest infections or full blown pneumonia after I get rid of the damn things. Odd, I know, that this should happen to a chain-smoker who was born with crappy bronchial tubes, but you get that.

Anyhow, I didn't this year, and the thing bit me hard.

Then you will have built up nice strong anti-bodies that should last you a couple of years. Unless you catch the equine flu that's also going around. Since you aren't a horse though that's probably unlikely.
