Oh no, my account's been hacked

I have 6 emails telling me that my Australian Central Credit Union account appears to have been hacked by an outside party and that I have to go into it and fix up my details. 6 emails, it must be very serious.

Oh no, what will I do?

Do you think the fact that I've never heard of this credit union and don't have an account with them would make all the money that's not with them a little bit safer?

Make sure to one thing. If this happened to you, they think you are a rich girl in Austrália.
Go there, cancel the business and finish the problem.

I went to the fake site, looks perfect as would be expected. Firefox is cool, it warned me it was a fake site.

Hopefully, something was not planted in your computer, just by going to the fake site

I'd recommend that you log in there, hand out all your bank details, credit card numbers, security numbers, etc. so that they can fix the problem ;-)

Great plan Frasier. I'll drop them a note letting them know I'm not with that bank but if they could please check my details on accounts I do have I'd very much appreciate their help.

I use a Mac so I figure I'm fairly bullet proof to planting things.

OOO ya, UI have seen them do that with e-bay and paypal and AOL. Try to fool people. It actualy works on many people most of the time.
