Who doesn't have a cold or flu.

I want to breathe again! Just a few little breaths is all I'm asking for. How much longer can my stupid nose keep running? And I swear to God I've sneezed in the vicinity of 200 times today.

I don't get sick..Maybe it's because I take two aspirin and two 1000 mg vitamin c pills every night 365 days a year....oh, and I stay far away from children. I'm very sorry you're sick though

Sorry to hear you are ailing, Missy. Have you tried the Jim Beam cure? Drink a fifth of Jim Beam. Go to bed. In the morning one of two things will have occured: 1. you will be dead, 2. you will have such a gawd-awful hangover you won't notice your cold.

Staying away from people, especially children, is especially helpful. The vitamin C is also good, Just don't stop taking it suddenly. Wean yourself away like a heron addict.

Hot Toddy
1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
1/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz sugar syrup
1 slice lemon
1 clove
4 oz hot water

I think we've discussed this before, Fixr. I did it once, have no intention of repeating the folly. I still can't even smell the crap without nearly puking 9 years later.

I think all of your well-wishes got rid of the runny nose. I had a sleep and now am feeling a load better. Except the skin around my nose and mouth, that feels like its been run over with sand-paper from blowing my nose. OUCH!

Thanks for caring my babies. I now hate everyone who doesn't have a cold or flu, except for you guys

Glad to hear that you will survive and just in time for the weekend. They have a classic imported car show at one of the upscale shopping centers and a food fair at one of the parks here.

I've tried something similar to that, except without the clove or slice of lemon. It helped, lemon has vitamin C, sugar provides energy, whiskey helps sleeping, water helps dehydration.

Missy, if it's the same thing I had recently had it'll linger for about 5 days, not being really sick but not feeling real well either.
