Birthday cake is bad....mmmmm k

so at what point should a company stop doing birthday cakes... we have 25 people and I have gained 20 pounds..

This sucks.

Hey Jeff, great to see you back bud. I thought you'd abandon us now that you're just one of us.

And start buying lower fat and calories cake. Look into things like carrot cake that are as yummy but slightly less bad for ya.

Carrot cake usually has cream cheese icing - very high in calories. When the exercize physiologists and physical therapists around here throw a party:
1. no one comes,
2. those who do come are treated to a fruit topped angel food cake.

Companies do the birthday cake thing because it's a really cheap way to pretend they care about their employees..much cheaper than giving out an occasional raise.

I enjoy cake. white icing with yellow cake. yum.

we do this cake thing too at my work. if I don't want it I just decline. one of my co-workers actually refused to participate in her birthday cake eating. pissed me off cuz i was the one who bought the damn cake and i spent too much money on it because she is a snotbag who only eats fancy cake. they let her take it home without sharing. BEEYATCH!!!!!
