Default Owl or Lark?

In other words;

night times or mornings; which is your best time?

Oddly... both.

If it's something creative, say writing an essay or something, I'm best at night time. If it's proper work, then I prefer to be up bright and early. Basically I prefer to get stuff out the way, but my juices are flowing most at night, ya dig?

A Crested Lark

Larks are passerine birds of the predominantly Old World family Alaudidae. Only one species, the Shore Lark, has spread to North America, where it is called the Horned Lark.

Larks are small terrestrial birds with often extravagant songs and display flights. This fact, combined with a willingness to expand into anthropogenic habitats — as long as these are not too intensively managed — has ensured larks a prominent place in literature and music (the skylark being eulogised in "The Lark Ascending" (1914) by Ralph Vaughan Williams, for example).

Larks nest on the ground, laying 2–6 speckled eggs. Like many ground birds, most lark species have long hind claws, which are thought to provide stability while standing.

Most larks are fairly dull in appearance. They feed on insects and seeds.

I'm definitely a morning person.

I work best at night, and I mean during the middle of the night. However, if I got to choose, I would rather get up really early and go to school to finish early, than start school late and get home really late.

Definately mornings. I'm up at 4...However since I'm ready to drop every night, it might be related to the fact I'm up at 4 every morning.

2 nights a week I got classes until 10PM, then I eat dinner after and there is no way to go to sleep early. I would rather have morning classes to get them out of the way.

If it's your circumstances (or work as we call it) that dictate your hours of waking then it's not necessarily your natural state. Bill, like my dh would probably prefer not to be awake at 4am.

Me, I'm a morning person... it's 6:30 now and it's the weekend.
