Hands off me Lucky Charms!

OK, here's what happened:

I'm setting up the content on a client's site and we have an ecom admin system where the client can log into and enter in News, Events, Gallery, etc. I was asked to enter in content just to show how it will look.

So, I do it. In the events section I set up an upcoming event "St. Paddy's Day!" and in the message I wrote a small Irish Blessing and ending it with:

My boss comes back and tells me they'll get complaints from the client, especially if the client's female co-workers see it. So I took it out and enter in the same boring "Lorem Ipsum" phrase. In my boss' words:

So, does Hands off me Lucky Charms reference anything sexual? If it does, when did this happen?! I thought it was made famous by the Lucky Charms Cereal commercials.

Well, say Pamela Anderson might refer to them as that. She would not have a career without them. I would be more worried that that phrase might be copyrighted and you'd get sued by the cereal company

I wouldn't use it because it's kind of a gay, overused phrase.

I have run into plenty of customers who were wrong...

And wrong bosses, too. Just today I stood my ground when one of them said to me "you're doing something wrong." I didn't stand for that so I made him rephrase his statement. [takes a puff from cig]
