I found this a couple hours ago & figured I would share with everyone here. By the way, Isaac Hayes, John Travolta, & Kristie Alley are in the orientation video. DEATH TO SCIENTOLOGY!!!! |

I watched the first 4 minutes of the orientation film before deciding that I'd remain an agnostic, thank you. When the Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) erected a new temple here, they opened it to the public for tours before sealing it to all but the annointed. It was really a marvelous building and must have cost many millions. I tried to get one of the young tour guides to tell me what the great secrets of their faith were but she had been thoroughly brain washed and would only repeat the party line. Isn't organized religion fun? I am completely convinced that religion has outlived its usefulness and is now a detriment to our society at large. |

The music creates a positive feeling and what they said reminded me on the Epsilon Program (http://www.epsilonprogram.com/) which became famous through the computer game GTA San Andreas. Also Scientology seems to be more progressive that other sects. Like the members don't have to repeat "Hare Krishna" 1728 times a day. ![]() Last edited by Samson The Cat : 03-05-2007 at 02:38 PM. |

| sla-pus a bit-chus ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 2 minutes into it, I closed it. its (scientology) bogus. I can only imagine, this video was made for impressionable mental midgets. edit: looks like scientology can really progress samson into getting some. perhaps. that is a story. for another. time. ---- * I know, your comment was ironical. Boy, it sucks having to explain when I got something as ironical. But before you don't get that I got it, I choose this way. Hopefully in the future footnotes like this will be unnecessary again. ** http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/fishman/home.html - it's a lot to read and probably overstresses the attention span of the average Fanhost poster. Just some info. Karin Spaink (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karin_Spaink) is a person who emphasises free speech - a lot. She also hosts websites of contriversial content, for example http://ash.spaink.net/ - that one is even censored by the German Google. She suffers from multiple sclerosis, which is why she is depicted with a crutch in this picture. Last edited by Samson The Cat : 03-05-2007 at 09:03 PM. | |

But tell me something real quick Phillip. What's the logic behind Xenu sending alienss to earth and then blowing them up with bombs? I'm really amused by it. The bastard in me sees them more as an endless source of ridicule and entertainment. Scientology isn't a religion just like any other including the "Big 3", it takes the money of it's followers in a much more effiecent manner coupled with it's secrecy(stolen from the Masons ahh Fixr?) is what makes it so scary. William Cooper may very well have been a paranoid freak, who knows, but his explanation of why secret societies are inherently bad is right on. Although I'd like to think there are secret societies working against secret societies. What a tangled web we weave!. PS: On the last issue of Atlantic the cover story is on the most influential Americans of the past decade, I think Hubbard should be at the top. Just like Christ, he has been criticized but future generations will realize he was right, just like Jesus. ![]() Last edited by Captain Beefheart : 03-11-2007 at 07:13 PM. |
