Thoughts on the layout of whatever!!!??

All, as per my request in the announcements forum, please post your thoughts here. Think about layout, size and position... colors will vary by forum obviously.

Please keep things on subject. I would like to begin the customization of the other forums asap.

It bascially looks the same with a few differences. Looks good to me.

It looks good, and clean. I like the forum logos. There isnt that much noticeably different on the main index just the mods on the right, which isnt necessary but it can stay.

Can't say I noticed much difference but it looks fine... the logo is harmless and not likely to offend.
Looking forward to seeing each forum get it's own identity... although some have that already. (BunnyBunny)

I agree, that it' working fine is a great thing.

I like the logo, I think the colours are fine. I'd be happy to see it stay like this a while, just some time to settle down and see things are working again before more changes happen.

Jeff, I assume it will be template based for colour changes? If so, could polls be done to choose the colour scheme in each forum. And would that make changes in the future easier. Seems the only time anything can be changed is with a massive overhaul. The flexibility for regular little changes would be nice to have.

I think the individual forum logos should be decided by the forum mod(s) and regualr forum posters. The basic red/black frames for subject and posts should be uniform from forum to forum as it is now. This will have a unifying effect as all are part of FHN.

There have already been some pretty creative ones made in a lot of the forums. Dushku and Hartnett have a lot of different ones. In a first PM I sent I did say they where going to be somewhat uniform but more people opted to go with unique stuff. BP said they did not have to be uniform.

The style manager is annoying, they should just have a few places where you can just click a few buttons and add things like custom pictures and colors to each subforum.

I think thats what where going, it would make sence that the colors match the forum logos that people have voted on.

background will be black, but the other colors can change. So basically colors will be based off of the logos... unless you guys want to pick some colors and then do logos. Just let me know.

Now he say! OK, so we can change the colours to fit the logo. Wouldn't it have been more logical to fix the forum colours first? (Like deciding what colour to paint the room before ordering the curtains. I do like pelmet and curtains to match!)
