I have some good news (Christmas related, so I know you'll be interested)

Production for my Batman movie is officially complete. Eight months in the making, and (so far) about 40 minutes long. This series is going to be my masterpiece. Until, of course, the next awesome thing I do, which will have to be larger in every aspect. Maybe a new camera, a fancy lighting kit, improved sound, real actors? You never know. It's a crazy old world out there, filled with all sorts of no goodlings. Teachers, scholars, Nazis, minorities.

The good news is I've finished production on my Batman movie, which is what the thread was about.

But I have better news now. The movie could actually see a weekend release. That is, if I don't get lazy about editing.

I've started some of the special effects work last night. Got one more shot left before I can go back to regular editing.

Man, I have a hard time affording used clothing from Value Village for costumes. I don't think I'll be able to pull off a premiere like that. I mentioned having a premiere with just my friends, but nobody seemed interested, and I'm not really in the mood for hosting. Right after I finish this movie, before I even put it online, I'm going to be filming and editing another movie. Who knows, maybe I'll manage to get out two movies by Christmas. It's unprecedented!

I don't think any big stars will be showing. Being in the presence of Spoony's greatness would be much to humbling an experience.

Oh yeah, and I finished a rough "final" edit of the movie last night. Derek is coming over today to help me put the finishing touches on it, hopefully we'll get around to doing the commentary tonight or tomorrow night, and then release on Sunday! Or Christmas, so that way I don't have to buy gifts for anyone. I'll just give them cards with the URL to where they can watch the movie.

Yes, we are. Derek and I finished up editing last night. It might not see a Christmas release, though, because our friend Chris is pretty busy right now and might not have time to record commentary with us until after the 25th. But that's fine, because I promised to at least get this out before the end of the year, so there's still time!

I feel kind of sad that it's over now, but I can finally focus on other projects before going on to the next episode! Batman needs a break.
