Default Christmassssssss!

Being an athiest..does that mean I don't get to celebrate christmas? No it doesn't. I think most people don't even know why you christians celebrate xmas. That all went down the toilet when santa came along.

So for me christmas is coming very very soon. ( I still don't have a gift)

What are you doing this year?..Are you going to church? Or is it all about the presents to you? Or being with your loved ones?

What does christmas mean to you????

And what is it you're doing with new years? The only thing that matters with new years is that I get my new years kiss

My family decorates the hell out of the place and tries to outdue the neighbor. My sister's very competative about it. She put up the xmas decor at midnight when thanksgiving officially ended. And she's not done yet. She's waiting to see what the neighbor will do so she's got "artillery" ready to put up just to get the 1up.

But we don't do the gift giving, we prefer to do things like go out to dinners or any other activity that involves having a good time. And I don't know many people so I don't have to spend much on gifts. I never expect one anyway.

BTW, the real Santa died in 1927 and was secretly buried under the Los Angeles University Cathedral in Downtown LA. The United Artist Corporation was the one involved in the cover up. The documents of the investigation, now released by the Freedom of Information act, shows that Charlie Chaplin who was one of the head guys of United Artist, paid off the LAPD to cover up the truth.

Well, Christmas is more of a national holiday now than a religious one, so I don't see why it matters whether you're athiest or Hindu or Christian or whatever.

I don't like the holiday much. I go to church, and I'll probably watch Home Alone. Maybe Home Alone 2, because I saw part one on TV a few times already the past few months. Or maybe I'll give Home Alone 3 a try, but it's not the same without Mcluaghahsjaefeyy. Whatever his name is.

New Years is a stupid holiday as well. Only business need to worry about a new year. For the rest of us we just have to get used to writing a new number at the end of the date. New beginnings? **** that, you already have Spring, how many do you need?

Didn't his lil brother do part 3? I hate those movies.

On a off-topic subject, I really like House on FOX. Jennifer Morisson is yummy.

They weren't that good, dude. Both are overly exaggerated in its acting, so much that it's insulting.

on-topic: I don't really do x-mas. Just feel it's hypocritical to sit together and all eat like a family when we don't even do that any other day of the year. :s

So Christmas, .. I don't have any presents yet. I'll guess I'll buy a voucher for a restaurant again.

Oh dear, I thought these brightly lumininated/decorated homes only exist in Chevy Chase movies - and the really overrated Kevin-alone ones ...plus one movie with Travolta. I ask my self, why spend so much money and time on decorating a house. I don't think that it looks that good - and it certainly wouldn't look good on my parents house - and the electricity bill. I wouldn't even want to think about it.

Im not religious, I love Christmas. I celebrate Christmas because its an excuse to have drinks, gifts, and usually a large feast of some kind. My favorite kind of holidays.

That’s cool, some of the homes around here are amazing. There is a $2500 dollar price for the best one in my city.

Bahh humbug! Not here, thank-you very much. We still have Father Christmas, in a long robe, not that gay little jacket thing.

I Love the Coke Santa and Father Christmas. Spooney I agree about New Years with you.

Whats up with the Giant Nylon Balloon "SnowGlobe"Lawn Ornaments ???? I hate them. My Neighbor has 4 of them on their lawn . Tigger ,Elmo,A Snowglobe Nativity Manger, and a giant PolarBear.
I wish I was the Green Arrow Id Pop them all.

I love a gal who references the lesser known comic heroes.

And agrees with me.

Why does Father Christmas get the title of Father? Is he a Catholic priest? I wonder if he molests the naughty kids or the nice ones.

Yeah, but who the hell watches Smallville anymore? He's still the lesser known hero who works the streets to me. Actually, I think he's kind of retired now, and his son Connor is taking over the super-archer business.
