More photos...Angkor Wat

This sorting and uploading of the photos is going to take many weeks I think, but at least the first album is done, the Angkor Wat temple...here's some of the pics.

Keri, you were asking about crowds. There's a few pics that show the crowd which was there to watch the sunrise (that was a lovely 4:30am start to the day). After the sun came up they all went off for breakfast or whatever and we had the temple largely to ourselves, or at least it seemed that way.

Wow nice, I would want to go there and see them. I like going on trips and looking at landmarks and cities. I wish I could go further and more often.

Love the colour of the sky in the first one... the third is great, that sun but I think I'd have cropped it more but I do like the foreground foliage.

All the photos say the sky was that colour, our eyes didn't see, but the photos all picked it up. With those longer shots, I did quite a lot of trial and error cropping the trees out and the crowd out. It lost something from the shot though so I put them back in. I have many more photos though, some zoomed, others more cropped.

If anyone wants access to the albums which will slowly be uploaded, let me know.

The temple looks really neat. It must of been cool to experience seeing them in person.

I never even left the Province of Ontario before. The farest I went away from my house was 3 hours away.

There's a whole world just waiting out there for you to explore it edawg. Given your range of experience to date it doesn't like you'd have to relocate far to find all new opportunity.
