Well it's disappointing this foolishness from Nasa hasn't already been posted on here, but I heard it on the radio a few days ago.

What is missing are the never-before-broadcast originals -- not the grainy converted pictures the world watched on television more than three decades ago. The tapes are not lost, insists the NASA official in charge of the search. But he does not know where they are.

Of course it's probably not a big deal since the moon landing was a fake, but still seems a little careless on NASA's behalf.

Robots may not be affected as they travel through the radiation belt so Mars may be true. The moon landing is not. Females having orgasms....well there's your ego to consider Bill so i won't answer that.

i dont care about the circumstances. the government lies constantly. they dupe peolpe then later it gets out that their story was total BS.

i dont know if we have been to the moon. i do know that governments are evil and lie.

Are you seriously asking "why'? Whether it was fake or not, the politics at the time was anti-communism in the US vs the Empire of the USSR, communism stronghold. Both were competing to land man on the moon, how would it have been had the communists been first to do so?

If the moon landings were fakes how do you explain the specimens (rocks) which were returned, BM? In your previous post you talk about dinosaurs. How do you know dinosaurs actually existed?

The rocks were fake. NASA had an indoor training facility for anti gravity and they mocked it up like the moon material. It was all filmed in doors. The movie footage (that is now missing) has some very obvious mistakes in it... Want some examples??

As fruitless as it is to have a rational discussion of anything on this forum with people who already have their minds made up in one respect or another, I'll just point out one item relating to the moon rocks. The reason these rocks could be distinguished from terrestrial rocks is that the isotopic distribution of their atomic constituents was different. Briefly, almost all atoms have isotopes which differ from one another by the number of neutrons in their nuclii. The ratio of these isotopes to one another is characteristic of the environment in which they were formed. A good non-rock example is the oxygen trapped in ice cores. The ratio of Oxygen-16 to Oxygen-17 to Oxygen-18 (the three isotopes of Oxygen) changes depending on the prevailing atmospheric temperature. Hence the ratio is an indirect indication of changes in the overall temperature of the atmosphere and one of the prime clues to the conjecture that the atmosphere is warming.

That link Darko provided, a tv special hosted by the guy from the X-files...ooooh that's credible. Let's get Leonard Nimoy's take on it too. As long as we're on conspiracys...Where's Elvis living now
