Well, well ...... WELL!

To commemorate my first K post, I did a poem. So after you read it, also rate it!

I'd cross the hottest desert,

I'd swim the deepest sea,

I'd climb the highest mountain,

But I can't come over tonight because it's raining.

Not to be critical but aren't some of the words in a poem supposed to rhyme? Maybe it rhymes in Portuguese?

what are you people talking about! ofcourse poems dont have to rhyme. dah. you should have gone to you literature lessons. i once got an A on a poem and that one didnt have one rhyming scentence.

When I think of a poem, the following comes to mind.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh

On the other hand there are poems such as this.

My all-time favorite, however, is the following which I learned at a very young age and way before the word Pu$$y had any other connotation other than a cat.

The Owl and the Pu$$y-Cat went to sea
In a beautiful pea-green boat:
They took some honey,
and plenty of money
Wrapped up in a five-pound note.

The Owl looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar,
"O lovely Pu$$y, O Pu$$y, my love,

Every time I scroll down I look for the Creative Expression forum. Sadness.

My favorite poem at the moment is E.E. Cumming's "Somewhere I Have Never Traveled," and various Pablo Neruda poems. A long way off from "The Wasteland" but still good.

I did what I could for Creative Expression. I am not a creative person at all, but I did what I could. I had no idea what the hell you people were talking about making sigs and doing stuff to photos.

Well, maybe it will come back.

I might. I glance through fanhost on occasion, and even was going to start a thread here but then I got hungry and forgot to. Oh and I'm such a bad mod. :(

You should start some Creative-Expression-like threads on Whatever. If they all take off (which they probably will), the admins may reconsider that forum's demise.

Maybe when I start school and actually start making stuff. I barely write anymore and am still struggling to finish The Sun Also Rises, so my creative expression is just about dead.
