I hate kids

Why is it more acceptable to say "I hate kids" and not something like "I hate Jews"? They're both hate towards a certain group of people.

well you cant hit kids. you can always express your hatred for jews by killing them (ovens, etc.)

a child grows out of his problem (lets call it "The Kid Problem"). The Jew neevr grows out of his Jewry (lets call it "The Jewish Problem").

Well, that depends on the group you are in. If you are a follower of Islam, you're in the majority and such a remark "I hate Jews" would be acceptable. Almost anywhere else and you're in the minority. When you say you hate kids most people think you kidding anyway.

Yes.

And in addition to that things like old and kid is descriptive to a state of being. Jewish is not. Kids are usually loud, immature, and irrational. There are no qualities of Jews of all or most Jews that everyone else doesn’t have. When you say you hate kids, your saying you hate the loud, immature, and irrational behavior, the fact that there more messy, especially very young ones and need more attention. When you say you had Jews or Muslims or Christians its out of nothing more racism.

Well, for the sake of this discussion let's assume whenever we express hate towards something, we're in the minority.

And as far as Ms Fix and Spoonn..group no,,, GOVERMENT is the key....Lets not do the the majority wins type of Gov...or a RAPE may be be a good thing........if the majority ruled, (Scary )

In fact you are in the minority in most instances. It would be more politically correct to say "I dislike Jews..." and then give a reason. In most free societies you can say anything you like as long as in saying so you do not incite others to deprive the group or person you dispise of the same liberties you have. Likewise you cannot falsely accuse someone of something. That is slander or libel depending on whether it is verbal or in print.

I disagree. You can dislike a political action or in this case a religious doctrine, but not "I dislike Jews". That is a statement of racism born usualy out of ignorant stereotyping. The same would go for any group of people.
