Default Interior design

If you had the freedom, and the money, to set up your house (those living at home pretend you have a house) anyway you like, what would you do. Bright colours, traditional, antique, gothic, completely modern, very empty?

What's your ideal living environment?

I think I do my rooms with lighter earthy colours, to give it a more brighter feel. My frontroom and kitchen would be in darker calmer colours..

modern/art deco. Lots of modern furniture with a lot of silver and black throughout the house, especially the kitchen. Tables would be black, silver, and glass. Light wood floors throughout the house. The only color would be splashes of color added in center piece things, wall ornaments, and paintings, all in abstract designs. A lot of high watt flood lights so its very bright. I would have very little clutter.

I'd put a fridge and a guitar amp in every room. That's all anyone needs for sustenance. Food and those sweet, sweet notes.

I want a house with lots of space. Big house. Full of art, and really cozy, soft furniture.
Oh, and like Bill Gates house with the top computer stuff, to regulate the heat and light, and lots of speakers so music can be heard all over the house. I don't really know about colors. Both bright and dark, I think. I want a library with dark curtains, carpets and huge bookshelves, with stairs that can slide and little green lamp like you always see in movies.

I'd want it to be close to a big city. And it would have to be a Funkis house, 'cause I love those. I'd want a very deep red in one room (preferably the living room), and I love the new trends with overwhelming patterns. I have a spesific pattern in mind though, so I guess I'd have to get them made. The most important room of the house is the kitchen to me, and I'd love to have a dark wood kitchen, chocolate brown. I love the minimalistic style, but I don't want it to be as cold as minimalistic rooms usually are. I'd put some colour in there, like aqua to spice it up a bit. Everything has to be top of the line of course. I'd want a fireplace in the living room and the kitchen.

In the bedroom I'd put some light, light brown colours. I don't know about the bathroom.

See, I could go on forever. I want a nice garden as well. And though my style is what you'd call modern, I'd still try to make it somewhat timeless, and of course, original.
