It's hard waste collection time where we can put out all that big junk that doesn't really fit into the rubbish bin, like old furniture, fridges, and whatever else comes along in the council inspired clean up opportunity. I cleaned out the old shed, which I've just kept putting off. I threw away a fridge, those things are very heavy. I managed to move it about 20ft before giving up and asking the neighbours for help. Smashed to pieces an old wardrobe, I now have good wood to start the fire with, and found a whole lot of old stuff, some of which I could barely recognise what it was. So now, after two days of moving heavy stuff, I'm sore, and there's a huge pile of junk at the top of the driveway. Some of the stuff apparently wasn't junk though because other people have taken it away before it gets picked up. Oh yeah, how to make this into a topic people can reply to....um....are you a hoarder? Do you keep all kinds of stuff just in case it will be useful one day? Do you raid other people's junk to find something useful? |

Its one of those things that always gets put off. We used to have those bulk pickup days and people would always come around with pickup trucks and take stuff off the driveway. Its wasnt just a few people, lots of people took there neighbors things. We dont have it anymore, now anyone can throw away anything they want whenever they want. I dont hoard stuff, I have very few things in my place, its kinda bear. My place is small so that could be part of the reason to. |

It's best when swinging a hammer wildly at an object to make sure the the other hand is placed a sufficient distance from the object to avoid being hit. I do have a very impressive bruise on my hand though. :D |
