Default Curious..

If a person calls you up all drunk and starts going on about you, do you take what they say seriously?

I have found that people lose there inabitions and arnt embarased when drunk, so what they say is sometimes more true then when there sober.

Not all drunk people behave the same way.

Whoa, really?! I did not know that! Now I am well informed.

*inhibitions

I hang up on everybody. I'm so tired of people calling my house.

Haha it really depends.

Most likely it's sincere.

Unless your in the immediate vicinity, and they are hoping they can see you or something.

Don't listen to what anyone says when there drunk. My dad always tells me what a great guy I am and how he is proud of me than the next day back to the name bashing. Calling me a useless and how I am going to be doomed in life.

Yeah. When I'm drunk (which is rare) I always know what I'm saying but I feel like I'm saying stuff that I would normally keep for myself. It's not insulting stuff, but I usually let people know all my associations I have at the time and don't care if it makes me look stupid.

Yet, I guess this is different from person to person and also depending on the degree of drunkness. So what drunk people say could be the result of distorted perception.

Depends on the situation!
For example ... when I asked Sarah to date me, I was veeeeeery sober.
I mean ... I knew what I was doing.

As other's have said people lose their inhibitions with alcohol and will often say things they wouldn't say otherwise. There may be some truth in what's being said, but alcohol also distorts reality so they may be saying what they mean while they are drunk, which is a different reality from when they are sober.

I agree completely. People lose the metering between their mouth and mind, so they say what they are thinking.

Hm, in my experience people can also be overdramatic when they are drunk, and exaggerate stuff. Like telling everyone you love them and they are your best friend

It's hard to tell when you are drunk because your English is already weird.
