My friday is being filled with catching up on tv shows I've missed since I've been sick. Gotta find out what happened on Lost!

Saturday, garage sale and a sleepover at my friends. Yay!

Friday & Saturday do what I always do - Watch TV & maybe some Movies & listen to Music

Sunday - Going to see "Over the Hedge" & "X-Men 3: The Last Stand" & also go to Comic Shop

The only thing I have planned is to go see X-men 3, probably on Sunday. Monday is a Holiday, so there will be block party barbeque at my parents house. Its a good weekend to relax. My summer term started this week and its been hectic, haven’t even been able to be on Fanhost as much as usualy.

I really want to sleep all the weekend, but I know this is impossible. I have a party today, and tomorrow I'll work here in the radio and in the night I have two parties almost at the same time. One of them, I'll do the sound and the other is from a big brother mine.

I need to study for my Danish exam on Tuesday All weekend.

Maybe on Sunday, I'll go see The Da Vinci Code with my mom, if she's not too busy. If not, I think I'll read La Bicyclette Bleue finished.

I'm going to meet up with my Grandmother today (Saturday), then I'll have to study for my upcoming (and final) exams for the rest of the day and tomorrow. I have Dano-Norwegian on Monday, New Norwegian on Wednesday and math on Thursday. Hooray!

I'm going to watch the season finale of LOST that I downloaded two days ago. Then I'm going to watch some Babylon 5. My father is coming over for dinner tomorrow, and we'll probably go back to his house to clean it up. Then we'll come home, dress up as clowns, and bang out heads against the wall until we bleed to death.

Don't sweat, oh mighty Solo, the mod, with all the powers, there was no inviting, or watching of The Da Vinci Code. What is it you hate so much about that book, and film, anyway?

I don't really care about the film to be honest, but the book ... the book is one of the worst-written pieces of trash I have ever had the misfortune to come across. There are lots of interesting ideas, sure, and generally anything involving the solution of codes is a good read, but somehow he manages to stuff it up.

The characters are one-dimensional for a start. In the case of one character, the girl, the only function is to act as the reader, who has no idea what's going on. What does it say for a narrative that has to stop every so often and provide pages of clunky exposition to character invented solely for that purpose? A plot should come from the characters and the narrative, not from being relayed to an ersatz character.

Ah, the plot. The only interesting parts of the plot were "appropriated" from a book called Holy Blood and Holy Grail, whose authors attempted to sue Dan Brown in a London court. The case was doomed from the start, of course, because under English law it is more or less impossible to convict a fictional book of copyright enfringement from a factual book, and Holy Blood and Holy Grail was marketed as historical.

So what we have is some interesting ideas robbed from another book, slung together with badly-written prose, clunky exposition-heavy dialogue, featureless narrative and a hero with whom it is impossible to empathise.

Apart from all that, it's great.
