A friend of mine is working on the programming and design of a similar type of creation, but more artificial intelligence. This stuff is pretty cool.

Ornithopters are small experimental planes without propellers or jet engines. They work by moving their wings like birds do.

I have seen an ornithopter where you petal it like a bike, didnt actually fly though.

Any 0/2 flying artifact creature that costs nothing to put out gets my vote.

yeah - little flying surveillance machines that can hover. They are incredibly small (fit in your hand) and light (can be about as heavy as a penny). And they can be incredibly expensive, relatively. I think the price cap on the competition is around $1500.

My friend is working more on a regular helicopter type creation that can travel greater distances self driven. The programming can get pretty interesting.

-and is that an MTG reference, solo? I've never actually played.

There a good chance I have one in a shoe box somewhere up in a closet or under the bed, probably several.
